Okay, so I hauled a 50 cal ammo can on my hike today because I thought I was going to have to replace one of my caches further down the trail. Well, that cache was just fine so what was I to do with the ammo can? Hide it,of course!
I actually carried the cache further up the hill to get a new cache there. As I was heading back down I thought "Why are you still carrying this thing on your back?" Spotted some willows and stashed it for your searching pleasure.

Perfect weather day up here, only had to wait a minute for muggles to move on up the trail. TFTC

Cache #1289! Took us way longer than expected to find this cache. It probably didn't help that we were EXHAUSTED ha - looked on our way up and our way down. Finally found it - hint to the next cacher: the container is about 2ft into GZ (not right at an edge). TFTC!

#1267 - We spent SO MUCH TIME looking for this cache. On the way up, we couldn't find it and moved on to conserve some energy. We grabbed another cache and had to turn back, and spent almost as long looking for this on the way back down! Tigervhaga eventually made the find just as I was about to give up. Thanks for placing - tough find!

Great day for a hike

Denali41, Paul, and I had a great day hiking up to the top of Square Top. The sun was out most of the morning with just a few scattered clouds but the wind made things a little chilly when we got about 1/2 way up so we each put on and extra layer and our gloves. We were able to find all of the caches along the route except for two. One was still buried in snow and one was missing. But we replaced it with the owner's permission. Thanks sassydil for placing this nice cache and I can see why you got tired carrying that one!!!
