The Colorado Trail was completed in 1987 and stretches from Denver to Durango, Colorado. Colorado's South Park GeoTour includes three caches placed along the portion of the trail between Kenosha Pass and the Lost Park Road that offer scenic views of South Park and the surrounding mountains. The trail is very popular, especially during the summer, so stealth is required to find the caches without being seen.

Park at the Kenosha Pass Trailhead off on highway 285 and head southeast on the trail. This cache is located approximately 3 miles down the trail.

Wow, you can't beat this gorgeous view on an autumn day. Have to take a 360° panorama to get all this in. Started Southpark Geotour in 2013, but this one I never hiked out far enough to retrieve.

What better way to spend mother's day than doing a geotour on the Colorado trail. Nice warm spring morning. TFTC

Hiking with my son on Mother's Day. And working on the South Park Geotour. Beautiful morning before the storms roll in. Trails are dry, view is wonderful.
