The Colorado Trail was completed in 1987 and stretches from Denver to Durango, Colorado. Colorado's South Park GeoTour includes three caches placed along the portion of the trail between Kenosha Pass and the Lost Park Road that offer scenic views of South Park and the surrounding mountains. The trail is very popular, especially during the summer, so stealth is required to find the caches without being seen.

Park at the Kenosha Pass Trailhead off on highway 285 and head southeast on the trail. This cache is located less than a mile down the trail.

35' SW of ground zero. Very near the trail. Found this originally in 2013. This time I brought ladybuglooking. A beautiful day. About a mile back to the parking area for us which will be 7 miles total for the day. Now off to get ice cream.

After stopping in Cincinnati for the Giga Geowoodstock, wanderw0man and I are working on the CSP geotour. It’s beautiful driving from cache to cache and the history of the area is fascinating. Should’ve brought some portable O2. TFTC
