This small/medium lock n' lock is hidden, on a hillside, above the South Platte River approx. 2 miles from U.S. Hwy. 24 in Lake George.  It is less than 500 ft. from the road.  You can pick and choose the easiest route up.  There are convenient pull offs alongside the road but please do not park in any unauthorized parking areas.

If you haven't been here before, I think that this would be a fun area to bring the entire family.

There are other caches in the area.

This cache contains a 6 piece precision screwdriver set and a 2 piece carabiner pack and a TB.

Pack it in and pack it out.  First and foremost....have fun!

More info on the photo of C-130 aircraft we uploaded on 05/05/2019:
Local news reported that those were MAFFS aircraft (Modular Airborne Fire Fighting System) conducting training this week in preparation for the wildfire season.
VERY GLAD to see the firefighting aircraft training in the area !

Truly great location for a cache -- I parked at a pullout right next to the river due east of GZ, and my GPS said 527 feet to the cache. It's uphill, but not too steep, and I got there in just a few minutes. NICE views from the cache location !!! Attached are a few photos, including a snapshot of 1 of 2 C-130s that flew by while I was getting ready to head back down the hill. Stamped the log, TN but left a little swag, dropped off a new bunny trackable of ours, and was on my way. A well deserved favorite point for this nice sized NEW cache in the woods, but only 1/10 of a mile from great parking next to several fly-fisher types and picnickers. TFTC !

A big Congratulations to Hartsdale for being the FTF on one of my caches. This is a first for me. Woo Hoo! I think that the 3 Williams Kidz were sleeping in this morning.

FTF!

I saw this one was still unfound from yesterday, so I thought that I would head this way and take a look.

I had this area to myself most of the morning, that made for a quiet time up here.

Thanks for the cache and some exercise to go with it!
