Beautiful hike up high drive and then to the new dead end of the 666 trail. Of course there are other ways to get there. A few feet off the trail on the uphill side.

This is too funny. Ernie66 doesn't understand body temperature and the fact that your lower body does not need as much protection. Having said that, I am so glad he brought an extra jacket for me. I was freezing to death! But I love this hike. Basically it is still the same hike as I used to do. Constant uphill and with beautiful scenery. Going to give this a favorite point because I love your caches as well.

When we started the hike, it was sunny and almost 60 and estes01 wondered why I hadn’t worn shorts. It was warm going up the 1500 feet from the bottom of High Drive. I was very happy to have warmer gear on the way down, though, as the temperature dropped to 45 and the wind started.

We found the cache and signed it. I also signed girlgenuus into the log. But when I was putting the cache back, it fell into a deep crack and I couldn’t reach it! Fortunately the crack was open at the bottom and using a stick, I was able to retrieve the cache.

Thanks for bringing us back to 666 - it’s been years. TFTC!
