What a great hike!!! Been here lots of times with classes but have never found this one! Damp and wet inside and definitely not a micro!

Log is very wet. Container looks like it has been flooded before. Didn’t have anything to improve on it with me. TFTC. Great hike.

Thanks to Parks & Wildlife for the month pass for Military Vets!
Took a nice 7 miles stroll to the cache and back. I found a pen on the trail just below the cache and left it in there. The logbook was still wet but I was able to sign it. TFTC!!

After the CITO, and after the walk with munchkins, I still wasn't ready to go home...Colorado parks are just so well maintained and full of beautiful nooks & crannies. (Also, I had paid for park admission!) Of course I wanted to pick up the other caches in the area...this was the furthest one.

Found it just as Retreat was playing at Fort Carson...what a gorgeous sound, echoing through the mountains! What a perfect trail run! Thanks for placing this cache and giving me a reason to check out this part of the trail. It does need maintenance, however. Container is broken and the log was soaked. Signed as best I could!
