This trip was originally scheduled so that I could attend the Mingo Madness Mega event in Colby, KS. After that event got re-rescheduled to next May, I decided to keep my airline tickets and just make a geocaching adventure out of it. 

I will be caching my way through Colorado Springs and thought I would hold an event so I could meet some local cachers, something I try to do when I travel. So grab your favorite mask and come on down to Memorial Park and say hello.

Note the coordinates are for where I will be, just off the parking lot by the trees. I'll be wearing an orange geocaching hat and a green geocaching mask. 

 

This outdoor event will comply with all state and local health advisories.

Thanks to all who came out. It is always fun to meet local cachers.

This was day 6 of my CO/KS/MO #geocachingroadtrip. Originally I was coming out to attend Mingo Madness, which got 2020ed (twice). I figured I would still make the trip so I could finish up my Jasmer, get some other old caches, great gadget caches, and highly favorited caches.
This was my low driving day. I started out going up Pike’s Peak and then went through Garden of the Gods. It is good to get some time out hiking in nature instead of behind the wheel of the car.
