The cache container is a temporary one (Coffee Container) that Anthony and Rene (Barr camp hosts) provided until a better one is put in place.

If you are just going to Barr camp, offer to carry some trash out for them, they always appreciate it and sometimes may offer you a free beverage for helping them out.

What better day to summit America's mountain Pikes Peak than on the fourth of July! Went up Barr Trail from Manitou Springs and of course I had to use the opportunity to grab some caches, this was one of them!! I grabbed this one on the way back down while looking at the camp, TFTC!!!

Got a super early start (4 AM) up Barr Trail with KJKlock today. Stopped for a few caches along the way, starting above the Incline. This was our second, which we grabbed after a rejuvenating lunch shared with a new friend. There were actually 2 containers at GZ, though only one with a log. Thanks for placing these and giving us an extra reason to smile on an already fantastic day! It was good to see the famous Barr Camp!

Enjoyed a fun day of caching along Barr Trail on a beautiful Memorial Day. We owe so much to so many brave men and women who gave the ultimate sacrifice for their nation. Found 2 containers at GZ - wasn't sure whether to place one container inside the other so left as found. Signed log. Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache.

Found quickly and easily with the lovely and wonderful AmandineFromFrance. Finally decided to call it a day at this point, but we'll be back to summit the mountain when we can. Picked up the TB to bring it to a hotel in Denver. TFTC!

Ahhhhhh!!!! Things are much quieter down here than they were at the summit!
