A nice afternoon drive with a little history thrown in.
Many maps show a "town" between two bridges over the San Juan River on County Road 500, in Archuleta County, Colorado. It is not unusual (especially during hunting season) for folks to knock on the the doors of homes in the area and ask where the town is and if there is a gas station (there is not).

This cache will help you "find" the "town" and there is a little more information about it in the container.

The cache is on private property but the owner has given permission for it to be there. You DO NOT need to cross any fences or go through any gates to get to the cache.

Please park in one of the large pullouts just north and south of the cache.

Looking at some land just south of here, I had to get at least one cache on this trip, and this was it. Nice easy find, thanks for the interesting info on Trujillo.

Visiting from Texas and and wanted to get out and do some geocaching today in Pagosa Springs. It's a beautiful fall day – love the weather.
A new adventure today going up into the mountains for some photos and geocaching.
Thanks for bringing us to this spot. On a Sunday drive through the mountains picking up caches along the way. The contents were pretty wet. I did not have anything to dry it out. But the log was dry and in a baggie.

Cleaned it up a little and reattached it's tether.
