We were here on an earlier trip but did not realize there was a cache here! We are headed home to Oklahoma from spending 3 weeks+ with our Son and Grandsons in Lakewood CO. Of course, I had to put together a road query for us as we travel. Only seems proper! We spent one night in Espinola CO, following 285 south to I-40. We had gotten a few caches on this route while on previous trips but this time we picked up a few more. Thanks for the new smiley at this cache.

Took a three pass drive today to find Colorado gold before it's gone for another year. This cache was a quick find for today. Not many people around town since it's a work day. Lots of "peep"le driving through, up and down the pass, as was I. This virtual had me stopping at some of my favorite haunts on Boreas Pass. The driving time between stages surprised me, but I was going that way anyhow so no problem. Answers have been sent. Thank you Two Bits Man for placing this cache so that we can play!

This was awesome and one of my favorite areas of Colorado. I’m a history nerd and I love graveyards. Como has a creepy quiet little graveyard hidden in the aspens. I’m always drawn here. Boreas pass is a great drive everyone headed this way should enjoy it. TYFTC

We found about this Virtual cache after we have driven over the Boreas Pass, thankfully we studied the two waypoints well enough to answer the questions, phew! It must have been a spectacular train ride to take over this Pass!

Years ago, when I was doing a lot of mountain hiking and climbing throughout this area, I drove over Boreas Pass several times. But I was always in a hurry, so never stopped to learn about and appreciate historically important objects along the way. Today I did, as I worked my way through the stages of this virtual beginning at Como and ending south of Breckenridge. It was a fun experience. I've sent my answers to Two Bits Man. Thanks for this interesting Virtual!

I wanted to do the one, but the stages are miles apart; I didn't have time for that, so I quit after the first stage. TFTC anyway!

Stopped in Como after going up Boreus Pass road to get a FTF near Selkirk campground. Walked around picking up some caches. Some cool old buildings. Interesting to wonder how the fate of this town would have been different if the railroad had stayed longer. Answers sent. TFTVC

Found the required information and e-mailed it to CO. I've been a fan of railroad history for a long time, and I appreciate the opportunity to learn more about one of the many narrow-gauge railroads that ran in the area. Thank you again for maintaining this one! TFTC.

Working on some more of the CSP series with Wall77, Ghostiegal and KSgator. We started it Monday, but got run out of the area by the fires. Roads were closed so we could not get to the caches. Most of the roads were open today, but we still could not get to some of them. Signed log WOGG. This was one of the extra we picked up along the way. TFTC

I didn’t realize this virtual had multiple points. Fortunately I have been along this road before a couple of times and I was pretty sure I knew what I was looking for. Found the items. Sent the answers, and grabbed the smiley. This gets a favorite. TFTC

Out for a road trip to see the fall colors & tag some caches along Guanella Pass & Boreas Pass Roads. The fall colors are fantastic all along the roads. Nice spot with the round house, and great history. Answers sent - TFTC!

We've been in state for GeoWoodstock and are now continuing our trip as we cache, explore, and hike further west. Very cool virtual with interesting stops. This was the second railroad round house that we have seen on this trip. Our email has been sent and we appreciate the CO keeping this virtual active that earns a favorite point from us. Thanks for adding to our adventure, Nukeworker and Racquetball Girl
