Sometimes on the way to a destination you have to just stop and take in the
view.

This happened to me. I saw the peaceful valley of Pulver Gulch and Pulver
Mountain in the background. I wondered what this had been used for in the early
part of the last century, who had been here besides the Native Americans? Were
the berms across the drainages formerly ponds or just to slow the water down to
prevent erosion? Who built the berms? Then I took in all the silence. No answers
to the questions were forth coming, just a hawk in a tree watching me and
voicing his displeasure.

State Trust land doesn't permit motor vehicles so you will have to walk in.

Happy that this cache wasn't far from the Hilton. The snow was not a problem but the terrible wind was. Beats doing chores at home any day. Cache is in good shape. Thanks for the adventure.

Had a great first day of the year ATVing trip and some fun geocaching. Had never visited this part of the forest before -- lots of fun trails. TFTC!

I headed out early this morning to grab a few.

Nothing like four wheeling in a few inches of fresh snow.

The snow was all gone by the time I made it over to this area.

Coords seem fine to me.

Thanks for the cache!
