Scenic view  Significant hike

A cache with amazing views on a different part of Mt. Baldy. Park at GCJPR4. Follow the road to the top. You may need a cream puff by the time you get here. The cache is just beyond the summit with the best views of the reservoirs. You are looking for an ammo can.
A croquembouche is a French pastry. It is a high cone of cream puffs stuck together with caramel. It is usually decorated with threads of caramel.

The name comes from the French words croque en bouche meaning 'crunch in the mouth'.

After riding up to the gate I hiked the rest of the way. Getting closer to the top the weather moved in.. Raining and starting to lightening I needed to find cover! The commo building was missing I door so I got myself inside and was able to wait out the weather as it blew over. Took about 35 minutes but that's better than getting struck

Ahhh- the long sandy slog over from 'Calendar' ... once I was nearly up here EIGHT people came hiking through the gap between Calendar and here ... from west- to- east they went right on through the dry lake bed & off towards ???

cache is in great shape... again with several logs by 'accidental' finders !! always amazing to me. Who comes up to these places & wanders around checking out every rock !!??
