Easy 2 stage multi cache; at stage 1, you will get the coordinates for the plastic ammo can final, which is in the same area as Rita.  PLEASE DO NOT TAKE THE ONE AND ONLY SLIP OF PAPER WITH THE FINAL COORDINATES ON IT.

"Rita is next to an old gold mine that is like from the mid-late 1800s where people would come with pickaxes and dig holes and try to search for the gold ore in the ground," Sculptor Thomas Dambo explained to CBS affiliate KCNC.

"She took a nap back in the late 1800s and when she woke up here again, like a couple of weeks ago, she noticed a couple of small holes in the mountain," Dambo said with a smile on his face. "and she said 'Oh that's dangerous, maybe a squirrel or a human or somebody would fall into the hole and get hurt' so that is why Rita is now covering up the holes so nobody will get hurt."

Over eight days, Rita was put together thanks to the help of around 50 volunteers, and a whole lot of wood from old pallets, now given a new purpose.

"This is made 100% only from things that were something before," Dambo said. "I think that is a valuable lesson for all of us to understand that something made of something old can be exactly as good as something made of something new, especially made with your own hands."

Congratulations to hartsdale for being FTF !

This was my target cache of the day. I can always use more multi caches.
This gave me a good reason to come pick up a cache I had placed the weekend that Rita was unveiled to the public. But someone else submitted their cache first so mine was too close to theirs. I actually placed 2 caches and they were both too close in proximity. I moved 1 of them but didn't think about the other one.
I dropped off a traveler.

Thank you 3 Williams Kidz for placing and maintaining "Rita's Multi Cache" for me to find and log. Saturday September 9, 2023 4:48 PM

Impromptu trip on a beautiful weekend to go see Rita. We have been wanting to go see some of the other trolls, and decided it was time! I wasn’t smart enough to get the coordinates on the way up, so I had to go down and back… But success nonetheless. Thank you for the great multi

Today was the third time we visited Rita. The first time, we got lucky and saw Thomas Dambo being interviewed by the press. It was super crowded today. So glad that the cache was placed a bit further away. We exchanged the resident trackables for different ones. Giving a favorite point. Tftc.

We were so anxious to see Rita we forgot to stop for stage 1. After visiting the top and finding the other caches up there, we went back down, found stage 1, and then went back up for the final which was well worth the extra trip. Nice hide. SL. TFTC

FTF!

I did my pre trip maintenance yesterday on the old motorcycle for a road trip up here this morning.

A nice cool cruise without much traffic.

Got the clue for the final and the road seemed hard packed dirt, I decided to drive up the hill, no problem just took it real slow. My bike hates dirt!!!

Anyhow, hunted for this one first and then on to the other two.

Surprised that the log was still blank?

Thanks for a fun multi cache and prize
