Howdy Folks!  Welcome to the  third "Vacation" filming location in Colorado (in a east-to-west direction).  If you are under 40 and the name "Clark Griswold" doesn't ring a bell, I am assigning homework - find the movie "National Lampoon's Vacation" and watch it immediately.

Seen it? Good.  Now, do you remember the scene where Clark ends up eating the baloney sandwhich that Dinky (Aunt Edna's dog) peed on?  But Clark is too busy watching Christy Brinkley drive by in her red Ferrari to really care?  Well, when you find this geocache, you will be very close to the spot.  I think ithe family was eating at one of the concrete picnic tables in this somewhat disused part of the rest area.  All of the stuff to the west is pretty new - I don't think it existed at the time of the shoot.
