Daching Thru... Series

Daching Thru... Tombstones?

Micro cache at a geologic formation. Bring your own pen & tweezers.
Please make sure container is closed securely and re-hidden as well or better than you found it. Maintaining the difficulty rating depends on you.

Typical BLM road. Normal clearance vehicles are fine. Seasonal road closes March 15 - May 15 for protection of the Gunnison Sage-Grouse and to prevent road damage during muddy spring conditions.

Daching Thru… Series:

Some cachers call this cache type a "cache and dash" or "park and grab" while others see them as merely a way to increase their find numbers.

To add some fun to this cache, when you log your find on the website tell everyone what you are daching thru at the moment.

Micro caches are difficult, but it is satisfying when you finally see it. My wife and I looked for quite a while before her eyes focused on the hidden cache. The drive was pleasant. Did not see another vehicle the whole trip even though it was a Sunday. Saw some wildlife along the way. TFTC

We found the cache container lying out in the open on the ground. We tried returning it to where we thought it ought to be as close to GZ as we could determine. TNLN. SL. Nothing of historical interest here that we could determine.

FTF!! What a great drive, no one out here but me. Well, that is except for the bear. It ran right out in front of my Jeep and disappeared into the hills. It was beautiful!! The sun made it's fur sparkle. Course I was almost to the cache when I saw it so I was really careful. Kinda hard to hunt for treasures when you got one eye watching the surrounding area for movement! SL
