This is our first attempt at cache hiding. It should be a easy find for young and old alike. The cache is hidden in a spot right off the Rainbow Trail. Look for a cylindrical sized cookie tin inside two ziplock bags. It's packed full of goodies including a brand new Mini Mag Lite. There is also a $5 first finder's prize!

Have fun and please let us know where you are from when you log your find.

We exploited a break in the weather to hike a ways up the trail this morning and enjoy the views out over the valley. It was a pleasure to find another Colorado oldie. Thanks for keeping this one going.

Greetings from Haines City, Florida! I’m here visiting some muggle relatives. Whew this was a hike in some elevation that I’m not used to at all! This Florida native girl was thinking about a totally different terrain level. But I’m just glad I found it and all is well! I even found a travel bug! Thanks for a heart pounding hike for sure!

Thanks for the cache! Relatively easy find. The can is getting worn and could stand to be replaced. Lots of cool little treasures! I'm dropping a trackable inside!

The hike to this cache has beautiful views of the Wet Mountain Valley. Lots of flora and fauna too. Venable Creek was amazing.

TFTC, CB_Beauty and I were increasing county and Delorme page count and grabbed this one and a few more in the area on our way home. This is a cool container, as the significance of the two sides of it. We saw 3 elk as we turned the corner on the trail near the cache, and of course my camera wasn't ready before they took off. We were only 100-150 feet away from them and boy, they are huge. It was my first time seeing elk while not in the confines of my car (or stuffed/mounted on a wall), so my heart did a pitter-patter. Geo-dog decided he needed to bark to protect us and we felt much safer.

Cache is in passable shape for its age. Nice little hike up to this one. We have hiked most of the trails here at one time or another. Tftc

The Ellemans. Thanks for an easy cache. Couldn't find the other one near the creek. Finding this one made our day!
