This cache is located at the summit of Sunshine Peak a Colorado 14er. Therefore, I would give it a 5 Terrain Rating. Summit is 14,001 ft elevation, 12 miles round trip, 4800 ft. elevation gain, class 2 difficulty. (just a walk no hands required). Beautiful climb! Go to "14ers.com" for a whole description of climb with pics etc. This is an ammo can with lots of survival type items in it. Painted rust color. Just a tiny piece of cache seen from the right angle. This cache was developed as a memorial of gratitude for some very kind people. Please take a moment to review the photos this cache contains, people of the Philippines, who were used as instruments of kindness in a very dark moment. Our daughter is a teacher in the Philippines, and while there she had a life threatening crises and had to be hospitalized. She ended up having an emergency surgery. These people supported her, cared for her, and provided for her, during this time. For this we will be forever grateful. We hope that their kindness will not soon be forgotten. We would like you to reflect on those who have also touched your life with the sunshine of their kindness. As sunshine warms our paths, kindness warms our hearts. We felt that Sunshine Peak would be the perfect site for this cache. May your life be brightened by kindness either toward you or through you.
There is a rock pile that sits on top of one of the largest pieces of rock on the summit. It is about 20-30 feet away from the second wind break pile of rocks. The ammo can is just on the downhill side of the big rock covered with 3 flat pieces of rock. This should be pretty easy to find. Spoiler pic shown.

08/23/2018 By Libertarian Lad What a tremendous day! Third day in a row doing 14ers. I've now done 30 in Colorado! The hint was spot on, and needed on this very rocky summit. So much swag! How did it get here? And the weather was gorgeous, as were the views. A real gem of a hike and cache. TFTC.
07/06/2018 By Udink Found it with Dorkteam6, right before he proposed to his girlfriend on the summit of Sunshine Peak! (She said yes.) TFTC!
07/04/2018 By Travelinghiker Unique place for a cache... 14er number 30 and counting. Picked up trackable.
07/04/2018 By M_Dundee After crossing over from Redcloud, Travelinghiker and reached Sunshine just after 10 AM on the Fourth of July. The cache is in great shape under a slab of rock. My Garmin was at 2 feet when above the slab. TFTC!
09/01/2017 By GeologyJohn I spent the previous night near the trailhead so I could get an early start on this hike. Went up Redcloud first, then traversed over to Sunshine, then took the more fun descent route off the back side of Sunshine after finding this cache. It was a good day. Thanks for the cache. 14er #15.
