First time cache. Short hike, but some timber bashing if direct route is followed from parking area. Altitude 8840 Ft.Logging of Beetle trees in area.
Cache is in plastic 34 oz. Folgers coffee container. Contains: Yellow baseball cap, golfer figurine, fur tail, velcro wrist strap,tie wrap and log.Trail head is at end of County road 87 which is three miles west of Tabernash on Hy. 40. Cache is on private property but allows hiking, biking and skiing. No ATV's or snowmobiles allowed!

Happy Thanksgiving! Staying across the highway for the weekend, so targeted this area for caches. Found a couple in the neighborhood and then went for a nice 1.5 mi loop hike. Cool little spot, surprised these caches are so lonely. Cache is in good shape. Cheers!

Easiest access is from the Out of Gas trail. It should be noted that you do not have to enter the lean to in order to find the cache. Thank you for placing this cache and helping to keep our recreation going. Thank you for the hide.

Great hike for a super fun surprise other than a cache. 7 kids and 4 newbie cachers made this a favorite find for us. TFTC. Super fun cache.
