A 30cal ammo can in the woods
I was driving down this road on the way to place another cache and a pullout made itself known to me so I pulled on over. I found a good spot for an ammo can not very far away.

Looks like there is regular muggle activity back in here so I imagine an ammo can is gone. Time to replace or archive.

Looked but did not find it. Maybe next time.

Didn't find this one. We did find a pocket knife and a handful of bullets (unspent, no casing). We spent quite a bit of time searching around for it. Found lots of likely spots, but no cache.

Another fun day of jeeping and caching with Team Red Rubicon! We had several people searching....but we all came up empty handed. Found lots of possible hiding spots...but no ammo can. :(
Maybe next time....

Working on a project in Black Hawk for a while, so trying to get all of the caches in the area. A 3-hour mountain drive after work helps with the effort. Nice little spot and the cache survived the winter. Cheers!
