Post Reviewer Note 08/06/2020 By Geocaching HQ Admin
On August 5, 2020, we posted a Reviewer Note on this cache informing about new Colorado land manager policies.

It may be that this note was posted on this cache in error, though the area is managed by Colorado Parks & Wildlife (CPW). We still strongly encourage that you verify whether these or similar permission requirements apply to the property this cache was placed on.

Apologies for the inconveniences and happy geocaching.

Effective July 1, 2020, Colorado Parks & Wildlife (CPW) requires a valid hunting or fishing license for everyone 18 or older to access any State Wildlife Area (SWA) or CPW-leased State Trust Land (STL).

Learn more in these FAQs.

Going forward, no new geocaches will be published on these properties. Existing geocaches are allowed to remain as long as they do not cause issues and players respect the rules and regulations for access and recreation. Failure to do so may result in fines, and the loss of permission for existing geocaches to remain on SWA and STL properties.

This cache has one or more waypoints that are located on SWA and STL properties. In order for this cache to to remain active, we ask that you add the following language to your cache description by August 31, 2020 to educate players about the permit requirements:

[FTF] at 4:00 pm. I almost waited till tomorrow to come hunt for this one. Last night Bandit got sprayed by a skunk and I was up late scrubbing him down. Then this morning we had to go to Colorado Springs for an appointment. It was lunch time when we got home and I was a little tired, but after a nice lunch I felt better so off we went. This one is certainly well hidden. I walked past it twice and was just about to move to a new search area when I spotted it. I don't know if I will be sad, relieved, or happy when this series comes to an end. Meanwhile the series is very enjoyable. Thanks for another quality cache!
