This cache is not to far off the road and is named so for the big 4 point mule deer buck we seen when placing the cache, cross this valley right in front of us 50 yards or so. The cache is a small waterproof container approximately 5x6x3 inches in size. It contains many items for both kids and adults alike. The wildlife and natural flowers, trees and grasses are beautiful here year round.

This cache is placed on a road that has many camping areas, access is within 1/4 mile or so from the trail system that connects to the Barbara Whipple trail on Midland and the area provides many opportunities for outdoor recreating or a picnic. Great trails for hiking and biking. The cache itself can be accessed fairly easy with a short climb on a small hill near the road. Use caution this road can be difficult to traverse under certain weather conditions! Beautiful picnics here in summer and utilize blaze orange in fall and winter during hunting periods.

On our 4500 mile roadtrip taking in geysers, mountains, steam trains and a spot of birding. Needed a break from the freeway so we took a random exit and found ourselves in this lovely area. After our picnic we reluctantly made our way back to the main road but stopped to find this cache. Left a pathtag. Thanks for the fun.
