Visiting from Delaware and enjoyed the morning at the zoo. We loved feeding the giraffes. That's the geospouse and me in black and blue. The link on the zoo website didn't work so we just searched for the zoo on YouTube and there it was. It is a few minutes delayed. Happy 4th of July and tftc!

I wasn’t able to get a screenshot. Hopefully a personal selfie works as my log. My wife grew up coming here and this was my first time! Was awesome!

Realized after our giraffe feeding experience that there was a cache here. No giraffes left this time of day to be in our pic. My second webcam cache and Megasaurus's first. First for our younger friend, too! TFTC

So funny I was poking longtrails about webcams because I was thinking roughly the same thing! We have several caches we were able to hide in our local zoo so I was really excited to come here and to get to pet a giraffe!

This was day two of a six day road trip from Austin, Texas to San Francisco, California. Some of the goals are to find Webcam caches, log caches in new states and counties, and get as many different icons as possible in each state through which I pass. Spent the second day caching in Colorado and Wyoming. I had never been to Wyoming before this trip. Ended up with a total of 25 finds and traveled more than 500 miles. I got to Colorado Springs too late on day one to get into the zoo. So I had to wait around until 9:00AM to get this important Webcam cache.

Visited Pike’s Peak yesterday and GC67 this early morning. Now time for some Face time with the giraffes! I focused on the mechanics and “C” got up close and personal with the hungry giraffe. All-in-all a fun time this afternoon!!! Certainly a Fav Point from us! TFTC!

When we were planning our trip at home we had ruled out this cache as we thought we wouldn't have time. As we headed in this direction we decided that a trip to the zoo sounded like a good idea. We didn't arrive until 3.30pm and it closed at 5pm. We certainly could have stayed longer but got around the whole site I that time and took loads of photos. Our first stop was conveniently at the Giraffe Cam. I have to confess that I think they were my favourite animal of all from my visit. Probably helped by the fact that you get get so close to them. As the Zoo closed we quickly snuck back to the giraffes and grabbed another WebCam shot, this time with our Cornish flag. Im the one in the purple hat and pink top. We also got to stroke the giraffes again. Thanks for setting this cache and giving me a second reason to visit the zoo.

As CornishCandy said, whilst planning our trip back home in the UK, we had more or less ruled out visiting this Webcam, but in the end it turned out that we had just enough time for a trip to the zoo and to feed the giraffes! And what a great time we had too. We were amazed to see some of the damage caused by a hailstorm last week where the stones were the size of baseballs! Although we didn't plan to, we basically went straight to the giraffe exhibit and soon spotted where we needed to stand. Although we grabbed a screenshot, it was pretty busy, so we wandered round the rest of the zoo enjoying the animals that we saw. However, as closing time approached, we had to go back to CornishCandy's faves - the giraffes, so we got another screenshot - this time with our flag. I'm the one in the hat on the right! Many thanks to gulo for setting this Webcam Cache and giving us a great excuse to visit the zoo.

Finally stopped to check out the zoo after many years of passing through the area on the way to and from mountain vacations. Couldn't get the link to work on my phone, so did an old school webcam and called a friend to provide assistance from home. Standing amongst the giraffes and their adoring fans in a superman shirt with Colorado Cobra next to me.
We hit the road shortly after the photo and apparently our timing was good as a very bad hail storm hit the area later in the day.

Geocache #2,000!! Nice one to get too since webcam geocaches are few and far between.

Nice little zoo on the hillside to visit. I'd rate it better than Denver zoo by far. It was feeding time for the giraffes.

We had been to visit the zoo many years ago on a previous trip to Colorado Springs. Today, we were back in town for a short summer vacation trip. I managed to get the picture (that's me in the red shirt staring at my phone). Thanks for keeping the webcam cache active.

A fun find with CShare as we toured the Colorado Springs vicinity. We loved the Giraffe exhibit, and counted 16 giraffes.

One of the better webcams we have come across! I sometimes bring up the link to the webcam to check in on the action.

Call this one our $50 webcam find!
