At over 12,000 feet, the hike to this overlook is approximately 5 miles roundtrip along trail 664, with 2500 feet of elevation gained. From here, the view of the crags is incredible. This cache is a small log only container hidden behind some rocks, (to keep the marmots from knawing on it.) Included in the posted images are hints to the cache.

Got an early start from the Crags trailhead this morning and had a very nice hike up to Devil's Playground. Weather was perfect, so I took several detours once up top (and on the way down) to pick up some nearby caches. My goodness, some of these have been lonely for a while - like this one! There was no log, so I signed one of the bandaids and a card that was inside. Thank you for placing this cache! Beautiful walk up to this one, and GORGEOUS view from here!

I actually found this cache about 2 years ago on pure luck. I wasn't even there looking for it. I just climbed up a rock and thought hmm... maybe theres a geocache here so I went and looked for one and what do you know there is one. I finally went on here and searched around on the map till I found this one. I don't live in colorado but I hope I can go look for it again sometime.

Found this cache with a group of campers from Rocky Mountain Mennonite Camp down in Divide, CO. Was great fun for the kids to see the cache and put their names in the log book! Great location for a cache!

This one was placed before I started.

After finding a few of your other hides I went right to it.

The container is in fine shape.

Thanks for a cache in a very cool spot!

It's taken me a long time to get to this one. It was always just that much out of the way and I kept saving it for another day. Well today was the day – no more excuses. Thanks to ernie66 for encouraging me to do it because it will go down as a favorite. What an unbelievable sight! Thank you for bringing me to this unique spot.

Spivey and I were on our way up to Devil's playground today and we decided to take a little detour to this cache. It was a nice place to take a break and get out of the wind.

Today I decided to do a pre-winter hike, and the Devil's Playground seemed like a great place to head out and explore before the true winter sets in. (I hiked up from the Crags' T/H). Wow, I loved the views from this cache looking back down toward the Crags, so thanks for highlight views from this part of Pikes Peak. Your cache is in great shape and ready for the next winter cacher wishing to follow my tracks. But if they don't get up soon, then their next window might be late Spring. Another Classic from Climbstuff...

Loved the location on this one! It was tempting to camp here but threat of a storm was looming and I wanted to get below timberline. Left the Australia geocoin. TFTC!
