[FTF] 7-20-2020 at 10:27 am. Sorry for the delayed log. Beautiful walk to the cache. The sound of hummingbirds overhead helped guide us to the contsiner. Happy to see a blank log. Stamped our name and grabbed a few more along the trail before heading back to the Jeep.
Today we headed toward Georgetown and Guanella Pass. I'm a Colorado native, but don't remember being here before. Its beautiful with blooming wild flowers and waterfalls. We hiked for a few caches before hitting a Jeep trail. Second test of our Jeep Rubicon. It did well. The trail was narrow and we encountered few others, who were all considerate. We saw a hawk and several chipmunks. I also had my first and hopefully last encounter with Monks Hood AKA wolf's-bane. Exciting day of fun caching in the mountains. We also introduced our niece to Snipe hunting: )
