Abandoned mines  Motorcycles  Quads  Off-road vehicles  Medium hike (1km-10km)

A Saxon/Lamartine micro along the 4 x road.
I decided recently that there weren't enough caches around the Saxon Mountain / Lamartine roads. This spot is one of my favorites - onward through the woods you go then - voila - a meadow full of. . . stumps. No doubt the miners needed the timber back in the day.

It's a camo'd film canister tucked away in. . yes. . a stump.

Had a great day caching with OF-Erad and K9Jayhawk. The day started with a puzzle find, then a MEGA event and to top it off we 4X4'ed our way across Idaho Springs, CO to Georgetown, CO and then headed south to the Honey Badger lair. Thanks for sharing this cache, Semper Fi- OMUSMC.

Long Sunday cache run with OF-Erad and OscarMikeUSMC. The day started at Geowoodstock and then transferred West to the hills between Idaho Springs and Georgetown chasing some 4x4 caches, most of which hadn't been found for awhile...TFTC SL
