This is a fairly easy 3 stage multi-puzzle. Easy walk on nice dirt path, please be careful as you will have to walk next to the road. Lots of parking near the first stage. You will have to do some light math and pay close attention to the first two stages.

So you woke up this morning with the urge to cache. You start to think of all of the places  you could go. Then it hits you, Waterton Canyon. There are great views, nice long paths, and just a good time awaiting you. Plus there is a bonus you discover while looking up the area, MojoFamily has a convenient  power hop up the canyon. So you grab your good walking shoes or your bike and hit the road.

When you arrive at the parking for the canyon you notice that there seems like there is a lot of smoke wafting down the canyon. You of course,Being a geocacher, don't panic but instead go to grab your cell phone, but darn you seem to have left your phone at home. You look around and see something becoming increasingly uncommon, a payphone. You run to the payphone and immediately began to dial emergency rescue. To call for help you will need to spell out a person you expect to arrive. When you know that help is on the way you decide to call up the owner of the cache you are doing and let them know what is going on.

Once you know the names of the people you are calling you have to of course convert these into numbers. You will take the number of the owner and subtract the number 6652397241. You will then subtract the number for the rescue person from 34743949904. Once you have the answers you will have the North and West  coordinates of the next place you can be of assistance.

When you get to the next stage you will have to be observant to help out. You will need to answer some questions to make it to the end to receive your smiley for putting the fire out. Fill in the blanks of the coods below.

N 39 L9.ADK

W 105 XK.BWB

B=Number of faces on the cuboid

X=Number of windows

D=Number of locks on structure

A=Total number of letters on structure. Divide by 4

K=number of letters in second word

L=Number of support poles W=Number of hinges on structure

When you reach this location you will be able to sign your name as a contributor to defending Waterton Canyon.

It appears that your cache is under the weather. In reviewing logs there seems to be a problem. Please check on this cache, and either repair/replace it and post an owner maintenance to indicate you have done so. You may also need archive the cache if there are continuing problems.

If there is no evidence that the cache has gotten attention (e.g. cache enabled or note posted to cache page) or I have not heard from you about this cache in the next few weeks it may need to be archived.

Thank you,

Unfortunately I did not know about the phone booth missing. I will make a workaround without archiving this wonderful little geocache. Sorry for any inconvenience about the phone booth. Should be up and running in three to four days. From this posting

This was a fun puzzle, with a part to solve before the hike and a part to solve on the trail. Pay attention to previous logs about solving for the second stage, which is in the canyon. The area around the final has been trimmed pretty hard, so I left another container (above eye level). TFTC

Looked for this the 2nd stage last September but the trail was closed. I loved the creativity on this cache. I was expecting a nicer trail but I suspect it improves further up the canyon. Cheers.

Forgot to mention. I spent a while looking for the cache and realised it must be missing. Have replaced it in a logical spot. Hope that's ok.

Some people mentioned they had to use Sassydil's formula. Well the new formula seems actually wrong: You have to add one minute to the result to have the actual west coordinates.

The second stage was unexpected--good find by MojoFamily.

The last stage--I took some time looking at the wrong place. With perseverance, I eventually found and signed the new log.

Thanks for setting this cache. One fav point Smile
