Park at parking for Idylease campground, and take the Chickadee trail. Trail maps available at parking site. Unless you plan to camp, parking is free.
Follow trail until it ends at campground, then go up the gravel trail to the site. There are many worn footpaths around the site, and at this point you are getting very close.

It's about 1 mile round-trip from the parking lot.

Mother nature provided the spot.

HINT: Aspen circled by large rocks.

My final find of the day! There was an obvious empty cache container nearby which I thought belonged to this one. I moved it right next to this real cache. Maybe someone can find its home. TFTC!

My goal today was to get the new Trail Mix #25 cache and clear out the north side trails. Goal accomplished! Dug through the snow to make this find pretty quickly. Cheers!

Parked in main/west lot. Up Hummingbird (80% clear) to North Fork (50% clear). Out and back to TM #25 cache (all clear to get to cache) on North Fork, then down Chickadee (95% snow) to Hummingbird and across the road to Songbird (95% snow) and back to parking. About 5.5 mi loop.

Working my way back to the parking lot I stopped by this one.

Nice rocks to sit on to sign in and have a snack.

Thanks for the hide!

I originally found this cache way back in 2007, more than 10 years ago. I was going by today and checked on it. It could use refreshing since it's kind of dirty inside. Otherwise in good shape.

I took a replacement container with me. I put the log and the toys inside. I did leave the old container in place and put the new container on top. The replacement container is smaller than the original, but it easily sits on it. It should be ok for a while. Thanks for the cache!

Hole in cache lid, everything inside is damp, including the logbook (plastic bag has a tear)!

There's a hole in the lid. Full of water.

My #1010 with David. After the campground, follow the North Fork Trail. Easy hike in. Quick find. Container lid has small hole but contents are okay, so I didn't add duct tape. After I write log, David noticed a deer lounging in semi-shade nearby. She didn't run when I climbed on a rock to get a better view. Picture attached. TFTC.

Our last cache for the day in Reynolds Park. We enjoyed meeting and talking with the one person camping in the campground. It was a lovely day for exploring the park and picking up the caches we had not yet found. Thanks so much for this one. Ah yes, the cache is at 2,242 meters above sea level. Smile
