Needs maintenance

Upon watching any number of TV specials on "Sasquatch" it appears that these creatures can be found all over the country. Curiously, I looked up Bigfoot sightings in Colorado and found that we are no exception!
While sightings may be a rarity, signs of Sasquatch can apparantly be found. You are looking for a sign of this elusive animal. Specifically, a footprint.

The Sign of Sasquatch can be reached by parking at the Echo Lake Campground area and taking the Resthouse Trail #57 toward the Mt. Evans wilderness area. The cache is not far beyond the trailhead and before you ge to the wildreness registration area, but will require you to go a little off trail when you get close.

There is NO need to ever cross the fence line which this trail runs parallel to for a short time. Beyond the fence is a private area so please keep out.

Kicking off the summer with a great American road trip to celebrate M4ISU’s belated birthday!  After months of planning, I am finally on the road with Stephenjha as my copilot.  I am logging as we go which makes it easier to keep track of the HUGE playlist we are hoping to accomplish.  If all goes well, I’ll drive 2500+ miles, add 50+ new counties, see 5 different states, find some cool cemeteries, increase my Fizzy and Jasmer progress, find 20+ virtuals, a handful of Earthcaches, a Wherigo, and maybe a webcam or 2!  It’s going to be a crazy weekend!

TFTC. SL. Thanks for placing this hide for my enjoyment, I really appreciate your effort! CACHE ON!!!

Day 3 of caching road trip to Colorado with KCCG and M4ISU. Spending the day chasing old caches and a trip to Mt. Evans. Today is day 2633 of my daily streak. Thank you for placing this cache.

Trampled through a little snow to find this one and the cache was laying in the snow...moved back to what we think was the hiding spot. Thanks!

No Sasquatch, but perhaps he would like this forest, if it wasn't so close to a campground, a toll booth and a lodge! I had to cross over from "right" to "wrong" to find this, like so many others. But technically, that is not required.

Unexpected, we had an additional day to spend in the Denver area. We decided to drive to Mt Evans, which was a good decision. Here we found the cache but no bigfoot, fortunately ;-)

We took the old Mustang for some exercise today with the goal of driving on some fun roads and caching. We stopped for this one and found it after a short walk. Close by the cache it looks like the forest service is running some experiments. Curious. This is a nice trail that goes through the campground and beyond. We'll come back some other time for a hike. The cache and contents are in great shape. We took nothing, left yen, signed log. Thanks grizzleycacher for placing this cache so that we can play!
There was a Sasquatch sighting on 9/2/1997 in our neck of the woods. We missed it...
