Medium hike (1km-10km) 

This cache is a pill bottle that has been painted for camoflage. It is on the way to the Bergen Peak caches. I thought that it might give encouragement for those traveling up the hill. It is right by the trail, not visible to those walking by, but should be very easy for geocachers to find. Look right by the trail.

On the way to Bergen Peak and the caches up there. A small painted pill bottle with no pencil or pen--log only.

icezebra11 and I have talked about getting out for a good mountain hike together, for quite awhile. It's been too long. So we've explored some options that would take us to a nice mountain summit, or to a good back country cache. Well, we found a couple of great candidate caches along the Bergen Peak Trail, and added this fine cache on to our short listing of objectives for the day. When we reached GZ and found the cache, it provided us good "encouragement" that we were progressing well toward our other objectives at higher elevations. Thanks for this fine cache, stardancer2. It was one of three that we drove from northern Colorado for today. Yes, it helped "make" our day! And my puppies Orizaba and Chimborazo, and Brad's pup Angel, send their tail wags of appreciation to you, too!

Denali41, his puppies Zaba and Chimi, my puppy Angel, and I had a great hike up to Bergen Peak today. The weather was very pleasant as the clouds helped keep the heat down. This was the first cache we stopped for and it was a quick find. Thanks stardancer2 for placing it!!!
