Wonderful fall day to be in the mountains. What an interesting spot for a cache. Two years cents last found. Found a Texas Travel Flag TB in cache, took to move along, been here Two years. To think how old this stump, so far here up into the mountains, could be? Added some "Jonescoins" and a'bit of swag. SL. TFTC. $RJ$

What a beautiful day for a drive up Oak Creek Grade. I had two caches I wanted to find today, this one and "It's a Bear." You don't need 4-wheel drive to get here, but you definitely need plenty of ground clearance. There are some deep ruts and lots of softball size rocks to maneuver around. If you're not comfortable driving on narrow, twisting and steep mountain roads you should probably skip this one. I got the 2TF behind 9-rushman&farmgirl79 for about the 10th time. This was an easy hike from the road. I didn't have this loaded on my GPS, so I was using my phone. It wasn't getting very good accuracy, so I just put it back in my pocket and used my geosenses. I found it after a few minutes. The hiding spot is really cool. I signed the log and added a couple of 1940s wheat straw pennies, a geo-token and some Get Out of Hell Free cards. Afterwards I drove the rest of the way to the end of the road and hiked around a bit. Thanks Mr. VW for putting this cache up here. This is only the second time I've been here.
