Visiting the park from Houston, TX. This was one of our favorite areas. We saw lots of elk here and I was able to get pretty close to a female moose. The ground was pretty soggy so I was glad I had my waterproof boots on. All of the different shades of green here made for some awesome photos. Thanks for bringing us here.

We stopped by to look for this cache while on a roadtrip from Chaska, Minnesota. This was day 2 of visiting this spectacular national park, and we were almost continuously in amazement! Sadly, when we arrived close to GZ we were unable to navigate the last 25 or so feet toward the cache due to a “trail closed” sign, but we have emailed a description of the immediate area. We really enjoyed this trail. Thanks!

Came to Lakewood to visit Son and Grandsons. Working on finishing our Across the Divide geotour today. All well at this cache. Thanks for the smiley and to all the people who put this tour together. Hello from OKC! Proof pic on way in email.

My two best friends and I spent a week in Rocky Mt National Park the last week of September during prime elk viewing. While we did not see any elk on the west side of the park, there were numerous herds in the Estes Park golf courses.

I am glad that we toured and hiked the west side of RMNP as the climate and flora are different and it is also much less crowded.

What a dreamy place! Thanks for making this part of our visit in the RMNP. Attached is a photo of me at GZ. My phone is my GPS so I can't include it in the photo... And celebration time: this is my cache #1000! Woohoo! Quite the milestone for me! Thank you! :)

Our Colorado vacation continued today with a drive from Golden to Grand Lake. Mostly working on the Across The Divide GeoTour, but also attempting a few other caches along the way. Loved the walk out to here. TFTC!

Rented ATV's nearby this morning and then decided to make the trek to get this cache. We passed it a couple times this week but didn't feel like the extra walk. Today was the day while we were close. It was a hot walk but enjoyed the signs and lessons along the way. Will post a picture shortly. TFTC
