After driving up Heart Attack Hill, we made a loop around and came down "the bypass", where we decided to hide this cache. It's a lock 'n lock container filled with a bunch of girly stuff, but boys can find it too! 4x4 with high clearance and lockers strongly recommended, especially if you go up the way we did.

After climbing Heart Attack Hill, I broke off from the gang to go down to find this cache. No problem finding it and the cache is in good condition. What a great day in the mountains with TRR! TFTC!

Happy New Year! What an absolutely gorgeous day to do some snowshoeing in the high country. The temperature was 10° when I left the truck and it was 20° when I returned in the afternoon. There wasn't a cloud within 20 miles and there was only an occasional wisp of breeze. I made the loop plus a few detours to get all the caches in the vicinity. Made the big loop hiking up Heart Attack Hill, then back down the by-pass trail. The snow added an extra degree of difficulty locating the containers along the way but I was successful on every one.

After scoring the FTF on Doggie Hike 2014 I headed for this cache. Up the ridge, then down the ridge, then up the ridge to GZ. I should have gone for this one first, it would have saved me some elevation. I circled the large object looking to see if the container jumped out at me. Nope! So I trusted my GPSr and got down in the snow and dug. I'm glad the coordinates were spot on because I came up with the container quickly. Thanks Red Ruby for this nice cache placement!
