Out for an afternoon of burning extra energy with a fellow great friend and caching colleague who is wise in the caching ways. We were able to avoid the rain that happened down below, but did hear the thunder rolling above while spying unique forest treasures along the way. Thank you for placing this cache out here in the middle of nowhere where no one in their right mind would ever go to or see without a rock to flip and say "AHA! I SEE IT!"

Thanks for the fun cache! I made a short run up Raspberry Mountain after work. The area has been closed periodically the last several weeks as they are searching for a missing college student. A few weeks ago I watch the SAR work and helicopters. Today the area was clear with several signs posted along the trail to keep an eye out. That I did too! This was my second stop and again I made short work of the find. Good spot to rest! Now here is where I deviated paths, but really glad I did. While I should have stayed on the trail and I knew where it went I decided to follow the terrain on my map and went down and up through the little valley. I was able to walk through a beautiful aspen grove and the leaves were perfectly golden and falling down in the wind. Everything was a really pretty yellow! Thanks for a great D/T Combo that bumps me just a bit closer to my next goal!

10:20 AM We are here from Dallas for our typical August vacation in Divide in order to skip the Texas heat for a couple of weeks.
Today I am hiking/caching around Mt Herman with WingsAndTails.
We made a beeline for two possible spots and W&T made the find.
We signed the log. Thanks, gampa&gamma, for the cache.

There are some crazy piles of boulders in the area. We hiked past one that looked like it would slide down the slope any day now but it's probably looked like that for many, many years. Loved the hike. TFTC

Beautiful hike today with Lemonheadmafia. Last time I was up here it was cool and cloudy. Today was almost hot but the the breeze cooled us. Loved the views. Tftc!
