Out for an afternoon of burning extra energy with a fellow great friend and caching colleague who is wise in the caching ways. We were able to avoid the rain that happened down below, but did hear the thunder rolling above while spying unique forest treasures along the way. Thank you for placing this cache out here in the middle of nowhere where no one in their right mind would ever go to or see without a tree to spy in the distance and say "AHA! I SEE IT!" Wink

Thanks for the fun cache! I made a short run up Raspberry Mountain after work. The area has been closed periodically the last several weeks as they are searching for a missing college student. A few weeks ago I watch the SAR work and helicopters. Today the area was clear with several signs posted along the trail to keep an eye out. That I did too! I made my way up trail 716 to the ridge line and this was the first cache. Lots of fun getting here through and around a couple boulders fields! This could have been an igneous hide! Spotted the cache on approach and made quick work of signing and replacing. Onto the next one! Great spot and I'm glad to be out and about up here again!

10:02 AM We are here from Dallas for our typical August vacation in Divide in order to skip the Texas heat for a couple of weeks.

Today I am Mt. Herman caching with WingsAndTails.

After I walked past it and got out if the way, she spotted it.

We signed the log. Thanks, gampa&gamma, for the cache.

Allenmabry and I made a big loop through the area today for a bunch of caches. I love hiking up here and I'm still finding trails that I didn't know existed. Thanks for a great reason to come back. TFTC

It was fun hiking along the boulders. I bet this place is exciting when a thunderstorm rolls through!
