Headed out today to grab some final caches for the year. The focus was higher D/T ratings to move us forward on another round of FIZZY. I was lucky enough to travel the day in the company of lasouthpaw and FayColSalTom on this adventure. They seemed to find pleasure in my slip sliding in the snow. Where did this snow come from. Thanks for having these great caches for us to find and enjoy a sunny Colorado day together.

A fun puzzle to work on. Thanks.

Out geocaching with lasouthpaw and Barasaur today. Our main goal was to target caches around Parker and attend the lunchtime event. Some we found, others we struggled with, and as always, we had a fun time. Signing some with full name, FCST or even F depending upon size of log. Thanks to all the COs for placing and maintaining caches for us to find.

FCST went one way, Barasaur and I went to the other... and it was on FCST's side.

Teamed up with FayColSalTom and Barasaur to cache our way to and from the south side blitz event, and we had an awesome time. We targeted some specific D/Ts, cache types, cache sizes, and even stopped for a few caches that we passed along the way. There's a lot more snow in Parker than up north, so we got to watch Barasaur slip and slide at most of our stops. (He blamed the shoes...) Luckily we brought the right TOTTs with us and had way more smileys than DNFs. Most importantly, we had lots of laughs along the way. Thanks for the smiley and for adding to the fun!

I was away when this published, put it aside for later, then forgot about it. When planning a quick caching diversion to Parker this morning, I noticed an unsolved puzzle icon on the map. Oh yeah, forgot about that one! The scarabs gave up their secret with a little effort and persuasion and off I went. Fun puzzle, thanks!

I'm always about 3 degrees off in how I think to solve your puzzles. I took a few steps forward, tried to open the door and saw it was locked - no key for me. No happy checker. But all I needed to do was look up to the sky for inspiration, knowing that Jesus loves me, and soon I got it. Next challenge was to convince myself to make the find on a very chilly night. First I warmed up with pho. Normally I love pho, but something was seriously off at this place. I couldn't even finish my drink. Warmed by the soup, I headed out and made the find. The container is already missing, but I found a wadded piece of foil, a K-Mart receipt and some used duct tape, stuck it to a half full Gatorade bottle and replaced the container. Ok, I didn't replace it, I'm just logging it from the couch.
Tonight I fought the cold and the cold won. I found a cache with a friend, grabbed some pho to warm up, and then grabbed a few more before surrendering. I forgot how cold the winter is.
