Merry Christmas !

This is the 100th geocache by the 3 Williams Kidz geo-team.

We placed this ammo can in the woods after paying our $20 fee to the US Forest Service to get the permit for our Christmas Tree for 2018. The small Douglas Fir tree that we got was very close to the cache location.

We hope everyone has a great Holiday Season with friends and family.

We have made a small family tradition of getting our Christmas Tree from the Pike National Forest each December, and placing a geocache at the same time. This was our third year of doing so.
More details and a few pictures after the cache gets published -- for now, we are getting it submitted as quickly as possible, as there are several people in the area getting their trees. Hopefully some cachers in that bunch !!!

CONGRATULATIONS to Great-Grandpa (x3 and soon to be x4) hartsdale for FTF ! That makes 2 in 2 days, as he got FTF on our Kokomo cache (GC80TYC) yesterday; this one was placed and published after that.

It was a very very cold morning when I left on my quest to find yet another ammo can placed by the 3 Williams Kidz. Surely enjoyed the long drive down the snowy road which was hardly touched after it's fresh new coating. I did have a little anxiety hoping that I would get to GZ and back out without any issues. Not another living soul was around and strange things have been known to happen up on Rampart. Parked and found the cache in no time flat and retrieved a FTF Prize that Hartsdale was so gracious to leave behind. Thanks for the good time!

Just trying to keep up with my Christmas Tree cache tradition to get here first.

Believe it or not the road was busy at dark thirty this morning.

I figured that I was following someone who wanted a FTF, but both turned off as I continued on.

The fresh snow ?? overnight added to the Holiday atmosphere and helped smooth out some of the famous Rampart Range Road washboard drama.

As I walked over to GZ it was only one degree above 0 and it didn't take long for the mustache to freeze over.

Anyway, Thanks for another fun cache to hunt for!

I left the FTF prize for the next finders. ( got the same one yesterday )

There are 3 trackables in the cache, including an original Jeep TB -- a red one, and these days it is not very common to see the original die cast metal Jeep still attached. This IS one of those.
