I use spikes on this steep trail year-round!  This cache will involve a short scramble followed by a short tree climb. See spoiler pics.

There is a gorgeous view of Pikes Peak from this location. After signing the cache, take a moment to turn around and gawk. :-)

I did a beta test on this one and signed the log before it was published. It's been fun to get up this trail several times this year. It's a beautiful area and an enjoyable trail. I'm sure I'll be back many times in the future. Thanks to Kerewin0430 for hiding this one. TFTC

Found it, FTF, whoopee! I wasn't sure I would have time for this one too and still get done with the hike before it was too dark. There were snow flurries and my hands were cold trying to sign the log after taking my gloves off to unscrew the container. I wore my Icelandic hat for good luck, and it kept me warm. tftc
