Great views! It was inspirational to walk through the regenerating aspen groves. Lots of cool plants and rocks. I had only seen one pine and fir sapling on the Blodgett hill side, but the aspen was really picking up steam here. It was also interesting to see where the lichen had survived the wildfire from this vantage point. Highlight was seeing a falcon fly over the ridge and cry out.

This cache has been on my list for a while. I took advantage of the great weather and went for the find. It was a long, strenuous hike, but well worth it. 66 Million Dollar View, indeed.

After grabbing the two new hides in the area I worked my way over to this one.

I have been saving this hike for someday in the future and it worked in great with the others this afternoon.

I lucked out with the weather it was overcast and 60 * with a slight brease.

I got home before the thunder storms started up.

Thanks for a fun cache to find with an incredible view to go with it!

I picked this one up during a day hike of MT Blodgett. I've put off coming and trying the nice caches in the area for a long time, so I was happy to finally have the chance to do so today. The temperature was in the 40's, so it was nice not to have the sun beating down on my neck even though I was underdressed for the cooler weather. I had a real fun hike to this spot and enjoyed the hunt. I really didn't mean to come after this one today. However, once I gained the ridgeline, I decided just to pick up the caches here since I already gained the altitude. Thanks to the CO for excellent site selection and the fun cache, I really appreciate it, TFTC.

This one had me madly scrambling all around before I saw it at eye level in a great hiding spot. Time to get off the Mtn! Sunset!!
