This cache is located on the lyons gulch trail, which is located between lyons, and estes park, the parking is right at mile marker #8.
This cache is further up the trail from the liar @ Lions gulch cache ( GCM46X ). Bag two caches at once..

The cache is a small plastic container, hidden out of normal sight. The contents were as follows.. a small log, carabiener, a few stickers, a couple of coins, a plastic bank card ( junk mail credit cards), and a hide a key container..

The container is about 3"x4.5" in size and has a pinkish colored top, and a clear bottom.

I was geocaching with a newbee friend, when we placed it in this location..

It is a good family cache, and should be accessable a good portion of the year.

NOTE: wintertime bring warm clothing, extra food, water, and other outdoors supplies.. Never know when you might end up spending the nite outside..

Dont let the note scare you, thats just me reminding the city folks about nature in colorado..

Found on a hike with my wife. We got new gear since we moved from IL and the hike was a break in for our new stuff. We enjoyed a long hike to the homesteads and back. The cache was easy to find.

How fun. Followed trail at about 1.5 miles on FPS head left up hill at curve. Hint and name made it easy. TFTC going back down to cache lair lion.

Found on my morning hike. Trail is in great shape.
Name and clue helped me. Lots of place to look and could not get my gps to lock on.

This one took us a little longer to find! The clues didn't help much and it was a replacement cache. It is in a small container with a black lid!

Awesome hike in a beautiful area. Exciting to find this one because we needed a cache with 10 words in the name for a challenge we are working on. Everything is in great shape but something has been chewing on the lid! Great hiding spot!

I was surprised that this survived the flood, but I guess it was just high enough and just protected enough. The trail is in great shape now and officially open. It's been re-routed to accommodate the altered path of the creek since the 2013 flood. Thanks for the adventure.

Easy find on the way to the meadows. First to sign a nice new log, which is always nice. Poor thing was empty, so I left a little swag. Thanks!

Note: The trail is still closed, and with pretty good reason. Major parts of it are still trashed. It's tough going in some places, but passable. Make sure your GPS shows the trail.

Owner has been inactive since '07. Now its become a throw down cache. Which just ruins the game. If owner can't maintain it then pull the geo litter and hide another one and maintain it.

After talking with a previous finder, this cache has once again gone missing. We replaced it with what we had and if no one else does, will better replace it when we come back for more caches. TFTC!
