A short, kid-friendly "walk in a park" and then a "steep" direction change.

FTF: Denali41 This geocache is a great, kid-friendly cache with some tree climbing. It may not be the best for you if you are not up for climbing ~20 feet into a tree. This could be anywhere in the tree, and it is not obvious, so keep your eyes open!wink Also, you may want to bring pliers to get the log out! Not tweezers, but pliers!

I had a few caches I wanted to get while I was in the Ft Collins area and this one was at the top of the list. What a great tree for climbing! Thanks to Frank30509 for placing it, plus Wings and Tales/CoPackrat for replacing it! I missed it on the way up the first time but then spied it on the second pass-by. All is well with the container and the log. TFTH!!

This one was a fun find because I had climbed this tree 10-15 times with my younger siblings before geocaching, so it was quick and easy. Expect lots of sap and some scratches. SL, TFTC.

Part of a great day spent caching with COpackrat. It's a fun tree to climb but you will definitely collect some sap along the way. There was only one reason for a zip tie to be way up there so we replace the container. Hopefully it will stay put for a while. TFTC

Out with WingsAndTales today to find some varied cache types in the area. This was a fun one - even with the two of us there looking we didn't find a container, but did find a zip tie in a location that could only have been related to the missing cache. Replaced container, and attached to same zip tie with wire. Thanks for the fun search!

Summertime. Lots of kids from the playground come and play. Good tree climbing training

Went up into the tree and looked around, didn't want to put much effort into looking for it. It was worth the climb, made me feel like a kid again. It was fun even though we didn't find it.
