This cache is located just off the Cow Creek Road, which can be accessed from Pieance Creek Road or up the JQS Trail. Please be kind to Mother Earth and leave your vehicle along the road and walk out to it. Cache is a small/medium snap container.
The cache is placed overlooking Colorado Highway 13 and the Grand Hogback Ridge. This ridge starts just west of Glenwood Springs, Colorado and ends near Vernal, Utah. Off in the distance, to the south/southeast lie the Elk Mountains Wilderness Area. Sunlight Peak, Mount Sopris, Capital Peak, the Maroon Bells and Chair Mountain make up just a small part of this wilderness area. The Bells and Chair Mountain are also part of the Colorado Fourteeners.

Nice easy one if you can get here! End of the line for us today. We came in from Cow Creek, but this next hill is too drifted for us to make it through. So back the way we came :-( Nice ride though! Beautiful view from the top!
