Scenic view  Not Wheelchair accessible

Off the old Ute Indian Trail above Manitou Springs. About 2.5 miles each way from the foot of the Manitou Incline.
This is really a substitute for LSA - English Lit. Since this is an elective, there are no tests except for stamina. But I would ask if you would contribute a line from some work that you like, one that comes to mind after you find the cache container. Perhaps Shakespeare (Romeo and Juliet, or the opening lines from Macbeth if appropriate) or maybe Robert Frost.

There may be shorter routes that I'm not aware of, but a good starting point is at the foot of the old Manitou Incline, at N38 51.407 W104 55.918. The route gains all its altitude in the first half-mile then is mostly level as it follows a pipeline.

We went out on a fun hike with Back Country Horsemen along the Ute Pass Trail. We hiked for 12 miles over 6 hours and found 10 caches along the way.

We took the required detour from the Ute Pass Trail to get to this one. The terrain was not too bad to get here from the trail. A pretty quick find once at GZ. Then we got back on the trail to continue our adventure.

This is day 1318 of our current daily caching streak (day 22 of our Mystery Cache streak). Thanks again for helping us to extend our streak by another day.

TFTC!

The cache made it through the winter in good shape. I started the hike at the incline and it has been a nice hike up to this point. TFTC.

"The grief is the joy" Orson Scott Card- Shadow of the Hegemon. TFTC We bushwhacked up from 24 over the cactus encrusted hillside :-) We left a vehicle in Manitou, now to cache towards it.

TFTC Another great cache up a hill! BigBear1 and I thought we would save a little walk by going down the hill a little. Then we had to climb up the cactus hill to the cache. Great view from up there. Thanks for showing us a new place.
