I walked out all the caches up this valley- my first visit. I noticed later that I'd missed a benchmark up higher... and then it seems I'll also need to come back for the final of a popular series I'm almost done with!

After two & a half more years this one is still rock solid and safe and sound. I came up from due west where the gpsr map showed the trail running out ... and there were two or three rock cairns right above. It was a bit of rock scrambling; and after lunch at the top it appeared to be the best way down too, as the ridge showing much gentler topo lines was damn dense in tree growth when met "in person" !!
Left it with a TB that wants a good walk (!), and got two to move along.

Stopped on with estes01 and swapped the trackables. Still a great view!

Been trying to get to this one for over four years and today was the day. Fun hike from the trail up to the hiding spot and we enjoyed the views. Interestingly enough, there were three other people near the cache when we arrived and none of them were cachers. Great spot for a cache and it was well hidden and in good condition. Thanks for the regular. Ernie66 swapped out both trackables.

Great hike. And we did it in true Cachechist style. The Lady Gypsy had a foot wear malfunction on the way in and decided to hike the rest of the way in her socks. When the trail ran out, I headed up to get the final. You can't see her in the picture but we waved at each other :-) It rained a bit on the way back down but just enough to cool me off.
