Ring The Peak Cache Series


This is 1 of 15 caches placed along the Ring The Peak trail system. Each cache in the series has a permanent clue located underneath the lid. The clue consists of one letter and number (think "scrabble piece") that leads to the final cache: Ring The Peak .

Please bring a pen and paper to write down the clue, and be sure to note if the letter is underlined or not.

An excellent source for trail information can be found here. This cache is located just off Hwy 67, since the completion of the RTP trail in the area is pending. If you are doing the loop, you need to use the road here. My hope is to move the cache up into the hills when this section of trail is complete...

Big RIP on this little turn out. Steep slope, had to hold onto skinny trees to get to the cache. Good that the was dry any wetness and we'd be way down the hill. TFTC.
