Ring The Peak Cache Series

This is 1 of 15 caches placed along the Ring The Peak trail system. Each cache in the series has a permanent clue located underneath the lid. The clue consists of one letter and number (think "scrabble piece") that leads to the final cache: Ring The Peak .

Please bring a pen and paper to write down the clue, and be sure to note if the letter is underlined or not.

An excellent source for trail information can be found here.

It just amazes me how through three different caching devices, and all these years, I get to RTP caches and look at pointer distances in single digits. All of four feet in this case.

...and what is the deal with the tree. ... ummm ... trimming (???) going on all over!

(pssstt... one to go and I have no earthly idea how to create a phrase. How did those early guys think they could jump the gun w/o all of 'em??!!)

Found it! I thought we would be able to finish this series this summer but we've been lazy and I think it might take us until next year! Thanks for getting us up here. Lovely lovely hike that we really enjoyed. We took the mt Esther trail from the parking waypoints given. Thanks so much for that! We were not thanking you at the beginning because that uphill seemed to last forever! But I'm glad we did it. We'll call that trail a "butt burner" he hee. Thanks so much. All is well and fine with the cache. :)
