This cache is hidden in one of those Denver Mountain Parks that has no name but on one map I saw it is called the "Birch Hill Tract". This park is not very well known either although there are some other caches in the park.  This is part of a second set of caches in this series which are all along trails in open space areas west and southwest of Denver.

The shortest route to the cache is a 1/2 mile hike one way from the parking area (waypoint provided). There are two ways to go and you can make a loop of it if you also want to find the other caches in the park.

On the inside of the lid of you will find a name of an animal that you should make note of because it will be important for solving the puzzle in a later cache in the series.

Beware of rattlesnakes in snake season!

Oh, and bring your own pen.

Came to this from the direction of the Briancaches. Was beginning to wonder if it was really a loop trail, as it became fainter and fainter. But, here I am! Took the playing cards (about to go on canoe trip with my son's). Left a rock sample (nacholite).

What a great hidden park! I was the solo hiker up here today. 3rd in the current Trail Mix series for me. I approached from the Lookout side. The trail weaves up, down, and around. Thanks for the series!

Great hike in the remote mountain park.
Seemed to be the only one here.
Found all 7 geocaches, hidden in the park.
Thanks to all CO's for hiding and showing the area.
