I haven’t been on Gold Camp Road for quite some time, so it was good to get a chance to return and try to pick up a few caches. I was surprised how crowded the road was, I suppose it is because of the Memorial Day Weekend kick-off. I wanted to give this one a try because it had a good difficulty rating, terrain rating, and looked fun. Once I got to GZ, I had a pretty firm notion of what I was looking for and where I was looking for it at; unfortunately that clouded my judgment. I was additionally thrown off the scent by either a very clever deception or a coincidental location that looked like a great hiding spot. Once I cleared my mind and expanded the search radius, I was able to make the find. Thanks to the CO for placing this nice cache for everyone to find, TFTC.

Here from KY visiting my daughter and finding some caches. I just happened to be passing by here, so I couldn’t pass this one up. A bit of a search and the cache was in hand. Thanks!

Rode the bimmer up to the lookout and decided to grab this guy. Little hike, quick find. Everything in great condition.

I've driven by this area many times but never really stopped to explore. I had some time after a hike today and enjoyed a little extra time in the woods. TFTC
