After I spotted the container from above, it became a challenge retrieving it. But thankfully it wasn't too long before I had it in my hands. Signed the log then retrieved a broken part of a trekking pole from deeper in the rocks to do some CITO. Thanks for hiding this cache!

Did the loop again today with some friends and we found it this time! Such a great hike. TFTH!

Did the Sentinel Point Trail today (definitely came from a direction that required some class 4 moves!), and this cache was pre-loaded onto my GPS so I thought "might as well!" Went to the coordinates and searched for a good 20 minutes to no avail. I have a feeling if I'd had the description, hint, picture, etc. I would have found it immediately. I'll be back! :)

This geocache was the main focus of this major cache trek today. It will go towards a double fizzy block I needed to fill! Found the bechmark first nearby, so bonus! Then I went about searching for the cache high and low, here and there. Thankfully, the sun hit the angle right where the cache was hidden. Then I thought, how am I going to get it from there to sign?! Well, thankfully, I did some scouting and found a prexisting tunnel named Harry (of The Great Escape fame). Through Harry, I was able to get to the cache with a twist here, a foot there, a push and bam!! Grabbed the replacement cache (metal tin and plastic lid) while also locating the original plastic container lid (see attached photo after a CITO was in order) sans container. While in the cavern, saw the original Sentinel Point sign keeping the replacement cache container company. This cache brought back many fond caching memories of other caches similar in the high country where special equipment was required to get in and out of the GZ for the cache. A splendid view was had from here before the standard afternoon storm rolled in rudely and became hail by the time the cachemobile was reached to descend the mountain.

This cache earned a fav point from my collection for the awesome placement, location, memories created and journey to get there! Foam Dome, well done on this one!

(Took TB that had sat in there for nearly 3 years and will move along)

The clouds were moving in fast with a rumble off in the distance.

Our stay was short but sweet.

Thanks for a good work out and a fun cache to go for!
