Thanks to the great description of where to park & how to get here making it a nice hike after climbing up to Devil's Head. So cool that this is so old-my 2nd 2001 hide in one day! The views were fantastic & that's a nice big container. Interesting lion statues at a "campsite" on the way which explains the old cyalume sticks hanging in the trees and on the ground. Based on the laminated "note" left at the campfire site I guess they don't want others messing with their area. A discarded sleeping bag made me think of a bum camp. Glad no one was around.

This was a fun cache to find I found it while caching with animjason, the view was amazing and the hike a lot of fun, if I could give a favorite I would thank you for a fun adventure.

We found FOUR "Mountain Lions" on the way back from this cache. A fraternity initiation area it seems...

This has been on my to-do list for too long and I had to come to the area to replace one of my caches, so we finally did it. Sissadies joined me and I am 99% sure we took the 5 terrain route to this cache, but the adventure was worth it! Rescued the trackables inside (only found two) as they had been here a year or more. Will move them along. Took some photos and hiked to our next destination.
Thanks for keeping this one active after so long! I love finding the old ones. Always a great location and an ammo can!

Roxbears are back again! This was our third visit to this geocache in ten years, it is one of our favorites. First it is a nice walk through the woods, second there is a nice view at the end. This was our second geocache ten years ago. Still caching! Dropped off a geocoin and signed the log. Thank you again!

TFTC It is always nice to find an older cache that has been maintained over the years. This one was in good shape. The view is well worth the walk down to it. Big Bear1 and NiceHice joined me for a day of caching with threatening weather, but we managed to avoid most of the rain all day. Could not have asked for more than that. Happy to add this to the Favorites list and to put a Smiley face on the map.
