Welcome to Sedalia!
I really thought that I would publish my first cache about the same time as the name of this cache happens. I was right, it sure looks like a flying pig! But I was wrong, it's not really flying.
This new sculpture brings a smile to my face every time I see it. Created by a local craftsman, it has a style all it's own and a small mascot, too. Swing through our little village and see if these piggies bring a smile to your face.

Pigs are smart and noble - really!

"You can put wings on a pig, but you don't make it an eagle." -William J. Clinton

"Never try to teach a pig to sing. You waste your time and it annoys the pig." -Robert A. Heinlein

“I learned long ago, never to wrestle with a pig. You get dirty, and besides, the pig likes it.”  -George Bernard Shaw

The cacher who is First to Find AND attends GC9GZA7 on Oct. 16, 2021 will get an unactivated FTF coin.

I was lucky enough to get driven to this cache by the CO's and then left on my own to make the find. Luckily if you are looking at the coolest bit of welding I have seen in a while you will spot the cache as quickly as I did. What a fun place to hide a cache! Thanks for placing the cache out here for us to find. It was a great one.

- What do you call a pig with no legs? A groundhog.

OCW GeoNinja2 and Jinxer05 on a mild and sunny mid-October afternoon in the Sedalia area after attending the event. We met up with GotYour6, lasouthpaw, and FCST, at the GZ as well and quickly came up with the container. Glad we didn't need a TOTT today to grab this cache and sign the log. Really enjoy finding these types of containers when I am able to come across them. Definitely can be sneaky at times! Gotta love the flying pig as well here. Brought a smile to all of us today who stopped by. Thanks wildkatco for placing the cache here!

Saw this had published recently so we found this one as we headed out of town - thanks for the smiley!

Attended the Meet the Board event in Sedalia, did some caching with FayColSalTom and GotYour6 in Glendale open space, and finished up with some lab caches around Lone Tree late in the day. We were warned about a rattlesnake on the trails in Glendale, luckily it had slithered on its way and we didn't see it. Wound up caching until close to dark, which seems to be happening way too early these days.
